TRUETRAC is a new company that is focused on developing technology solutions for your business. TRUETRAC’s first product is the LABELTRAC case labeling system. The company has expert staff who are knowledgeable in produce traceability, software development, label technology and, most importantly, agriculture and farming.

Company History

TRUETRAC really began in 2005. It was born from the need of farmers and shippers to control costs by automating many of the manual, paper based business processes utilized by companies over the years. With the help of a team of technical analysts working together with farmers, the first product, LABELTRAC, was developed. This web-based, field labeling system was a simple and effective business solution that created a birth certificate in the field for everything a farmer grows. The LABELTRAC system was tested for five years in multiple commodities, multiple harvesting crews and on operations throughout California. The TRUETRAC company is now ready to offer the LABELTRAC carton labeling system to farmers throughout North America.
 

Meet Our Expert Staff

In addition to innovative products, TRUETRAC also boasts an expert team that is unique in not only its technical knowledge, but also a strong knowledge of the business of farming. While other companies may have personnel with technical expertise, they often don’t have the ag-based knowledge needed to help develop solutions for farming companies.

	Ray Connelly, General Manager Ray joined TRUETRAC after a 17- year career at Famous Software where he worked in software consulting, management, strategic planning and sales. At Famous, Ray worked with the management staff of many different agricultural companies across North and South America. He brings an industry-based approach to the TRUETRAC business. Ray comes from a 4th generation grower/shipper organization in Southern California. On the farm, Ray has done everything from managing harvesting crews to driving a tractor so he has first-hand knowledge of many of the challenges facing farmers and farming companies today. Ray’s farmer based knowledge and his extensive software experience makes him uniquely qualified to manage the TRUETRAC company and service its customer base.
	Johnny McGuire, Product Manager New Zealand native, Johnny McGuire brings to TrueTrac over 20 years of experience in technology, agriculture and supply chain management. At TRUETRAC, Johnny is responsible for the oversight of all aspects of product development . Before joining TRUETRAC, Johnny handled new product development and business process improvement methods at Capurro Farms and Growers Express. Both are growing and shipping companies of multiple vegetable commodities. Prior to Capurro and Growers Express, Johnny worked in the Silicon Valley as a Senior Project Manager for Metricom Inc, a pioneer in wireless data networking.
	James Starkovich - Senior Architect James Starkovich is directly responsible for managing all aspects of the software developed by TRUETRAC. He discovered his passion for software while in college. He brings over ten years of experience and enthusiasm to every TrueTrac product. Prior to joining TRUETRAC, James was a senior software developer for Sharp Healthcare, the largest private employer in San Diego, CA. There he wrote software used by more than 18,000 employees on a daily basis. Prior to that James worked as a software developer at Cal Poly University in San Luis Obispo.
	Mike Scott, Systems Engineer Mike Scott joined the team after ten years at River Ranch Fresh Foods, LLC - one of the largest fresh produce processors in the United States where he was the Director of Information Technology. While at River Ranch, Mike managed the network, server infrastructure and support for the entire company. Mike brings a rich history of system integration, implementation and knowledge of the software needs of an agricultural company to our team at TRUETRAC. At TRUETRAC, Mike is responsible for the hardware design and implementation of TrueTrac’s software solutions. Mike looks forward to working closely with TRUETRAC customers to design efficient and practical solutions to everyday business challenges.
