TRUETRAC™ Launches LabelTrac-Basic™ Produce Traceability Software
New version makes minimum PTI compliance fast, easy, and affordable
SALINAS, Calif., October 12, 2011: TRUETRAC™, the agricultural industry leader in field and production data collection and management, has introduced new software for produce companies that need to meet minimum Produce Traceability Initiative (PTI) compliance requirements quickly.
“TRUETRAC is committed to building software that is easy to implement and simple to use. LabelTrac–Basic™ meets this criteria and will enable companies to quickly and cost-effectively meet upcoming PTI milestones,” said TRUETRAC President Ray Connelly. “LabelTrac-Basic solves the immediate challenges associated with PTI compliance. In particular, LabelTrac-Basic allows companies to ‘check-the-box’ to be compliant with the PTI milestones #4, and #5.
Offered via a web interface or on a handheld device for mobile users, LabelTrac‑Basic includes standard case label templates and also allows for printing of hybrid pallet tags.
LabelTrac–Basic includes a Web-based interface and connections for up to five remote devices. Training and additional hardware and accessories are all available, quoted and priced to meet entry-level expectations. Custom label configurations, specialized reporting and development, including integration are available.
“If a company wants to build additional ROI into this technology, LabeTrac‑Basic customers have the ability to upgrade into more advanced TRUETRAC products: LabelTrac-Pro™, HarvestTrac™, ItemTrac™, AuditTrac™ or CropTrac™,” Connelly said. Working together, the TRUETRAC software suite provides an information platform covering all aspects of data collection for the fresh produce supply chain, including item-level traceability, Food Safety and Crop Management.
