Manage planting, rotations, and sales demands with ease!
Crop allocation can often take weeks of planning with pen and paper. With CropTracTM, this process can be done in hours. Managing seasonal land and crop allocation can be a challenging exercise for any grower of fresh produce. Managing multiple rotation crops across a large acre base can be especially complicated, given the need for soil conservation, sustainability and best practices for land management. CropTrac makes real-time and accurate information management real simple.

CropTrac allows growers to electronically receive harvest demands from multiple shippers and use this information to begin creating a seasonal planting schedule. Once the seasonal demands are received, CropTrac allows growers to consolidate all similar demands and begin budgeting land, seed and labor for the season.
To manage the complexities of a multi-crop, multi-region, multi-customer planting schedule, CropTrac lets managers set up complex risk rules based on their experience and best practices. The objectives are to manage ground preferences, days to harvest, adjust for micro climates and variety, and enforce rotation rules. As farmers begin building their schedules, the system uses these rules to recommend availability of land and proper management of resources.
After building a seasonal budget, a grower can track actual plantings with the CropTrac electronic planting card. Capture all the details of the planting from seed variety and count to bed size, plant spacing, and row direction. Use CropTrac to track ongoing crop cultural practices and inputs like pesticides and fertilizers. As material and labor resources are applied, all inputs can be tracked electronically and data retained in the system, giving the grower a complete snapshot of growing cycle.
Additionally, customers who use TRUETRAC’s HarvestTrac module can electronically receive harvest information as it is generated in real time.
Update CropTrac data throughout the season as demands from shippers, planting schedules, or field growing conditions change. Original crop planning budgets are maintained in CropTrac for variance reporting throughout or at the end of the growing year. It’s possible to track information such as crop planting budget vs. actual, actual crop plantings vs. harvest, and budgeted crop demand vs. actual. CropTrac will open up quantifiable insights and allow for better management each season.
